Public Talk on Toastmasters
- 13 April 2005

A Public Talk on Toastmasters was held on 13 April 2005 at the Kinabalu College, commencing at 7.30pm. Some 15 people attended the talk.

The main objectives of the talk were to introduce Toastmasters to the general public and to canvass for new members for the various Toastmasters clubs in Kota Kinabalu.

Division K Governor Richard A Gontusan, who mooted the idea of the talk, was the speaker at the talk. He talked about the benefits of Toastmasters and how to join the organisation, to those present.

The several questions from the floor indicated that there was interest in joining the organisation. The talk was conducted free of charge.
